The reporter learned from the Bureau of agricultural machinery of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region that this year, the popularization of harvesting machinery in main grain producing areas such as wheat and corn in Xinjiang has been further strengthened, with the yield of wheat machinery reaching 97.48%.

This year, all parts of the region will give full play to the role of machinery in agricultural production, take effective measures around wheat, corn and other key crops, do a good job in crop field management and harvesting, revise and improve the emergency plan for wheat mechanical harvest, and provide sufficient guarantee for summer harvest. A total of 30400 wheat combine harvesters have been put into operation in the whole region, of which 3500 are involved in trans regional operations. 251 reception service stations for trans regional harvesters have been established, and the work of rush harvesting and sowing of agricultural machinery is progressing smoothly.

At the same time, the whole region should seize the agricultural time, focus on the production of corn and cotton, and orderly launch the autumn agricultural mechanization production. Agricultural and rural departments scientifically allocate tasks and machines and tools, promote the rational flow and efficient operation of machines and tools, actively carry out inter regional machine sowing of agricultural machinery in autumn, subsoiling and land preparation, and strive to achieve one mu of maturity, one mu of harvest, one mu of stubble and one mu of sowing. At present, the machine sowing rate of Summer Maize in the whole region has reached 98.84%, and the number of corn combine harvesters and silage harvesters has reached 3973 and 2305 respectively.

Since the beginning of this year, the whole district has further simplified the verification procedures, encouraged farmers to apply for subsidies off-site through mobile phone app, and carried out services such as verification and appointment of subsidy machines and tools, so as to facilitate farmers to purchase and use machines. Up to now, the implementation of agricultural machinery purchase subsidies in the whole region has been progressing smoothly, with 953 million yuan of subsidy funds, ranking in the forefront of the country. At the same time, the region also actively promotes the transformation and upgrading of agricultural mechanization, including energy-saving, environmental protection, accurate and efficient harvesting machinery into the scope of key machinery subsidies. This year, the region has newly subsidized the purchase of more than 2000 sets of advanced and applicable harvesting machinery, such as grain harvesting machinery, cotton picker, green fodder harvester, which provides strong equipment support for the smooth development of agricultural mechanization production.
